SQC representing the team from
Saudi Arabia lead the participation in the 2nd MEQA Annual
Congress that was conducted in
Dubai between 7 – 9 April, 2008 in
Dubai, UAE. On behalf of council, the SQC Director – Dr.
Ayed T. Al-Amri delivered a Presentation titled “SWOT of Quality Progress in

2nd Saudia Quality Board 2008
Saudi Arabian Airlines Organized the 2nd Saudia Quality
Boards Conference in Jeddah between 12 – 13 January, 2008 with Conference theme
titled “Application of Quality in Air Transport Industry”. The meeting was a
huge success with different local and international companies participating and
sharing their practices with attendees.

Sectors was conducted in
Kuwait in 2007 with full participation of all
GCC Countries. The Conference was organized under the patronage of HE Sheikh Ali
Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Minister of Energy – State of Kuwait.
The Conference was attended by more than 500 participants
from across the GCC Countries. The
Key Note Speakers for the events were Mr. Joseph De Feo, President & CEO - Juran
Institute & Mr. Gopal Kanji, Director - Kanji Quality Culture Ltd.

Airlines. The Conference was attended by more than 400 Quality Professionals

Jeddah,

1st GCC Conference to share best practices in Application of
Quality in Governmental Sectors was conducted in Jeddah in 2004 with full

1st Quality in Tourism Industry Symposium in Abha in December
2004
The 1st Symposium on Quality in Tourism Industry was
organized by SQC (WR) in Abha in December, 2004 with Support and Cooperation of
Governorate of Asir Region. The Symposium was attended by 120 Professionals from
the Industry that was followed up with an Educational Plant Tour of Al-Watan
Newspaper.

1st Saudi Emirati Quality Symposium held in
Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia in
June 2003
The first ever Saudi Emirati Symposium was conducted in
Jeddah with more than 400 participants attending from both Saudi and UAE
government departments to share their experiences in Application of Quality
tools and techniques in their work.
The event was one major start in taking the Quality Movement promoted by SQC to
other GCC Countries.
